Training - Aircraft Recocnition

Having been buzzed twice by American drones since we had a few beers on Saturday, we have decided to train the nippers in aircraft recognition. It looks like some people have forgotten the first rule of the DPPF and have been blabbing to the yanks. USA special forces have been in our bin again and have planted extra booze bottles and specialist magazines. We are convinced that they are trying to divide and conquer the DPPF.

The people of Davenham have agreed to help in defending our sovereign territory and have agreed to keep an eye out. We are looking to appoint an official DPPF spotter. First prize to whoever recognises the following overhead hazards, is an official appointment and a medal.

Answers one to five in the comments please.

Nobby, you'd be best doing this on you own.

Give me a clue, are they all Easy Jet flights from Liverpool John Lennon?

Foxy,
Had a quick butchers stile at your plane quiz questions:
1)A-10 Thunderbolt "Tank killer"
2)A-6E "Intruder"
3)I'll get back to you??
4)Either a Handley Page "Halifax" or a B-24 liberator?
5)Avro "Vulcan" bomber
Let me know
DEF (Davenham Elite Force)

5/5 sort of.

Must try harder!

irdg - Slacker!

anonymous;

Getting close.

Results on wednesday. Medal being stamped by the royal mint as we type.

Oh - they've tagged the DPPF rabbit with a camera. It's spying on us.

Anyone got any pastry?

irdg? I think you'll find it's London Road Desert Group (or should that read dessert.....can't beat a drop of Black Forrest Gattux)
More of a tank man me'sen.....will we get butties at half time for the next Billie quiz?
Just on a hunch though, I'll go for No.4 as being an Avro Shackleton....the clues...it was over water (not bomber or fighter Command)...forerunner of the
Nimrod. Plus me dad was based at Kinloss.

Ps. lovely part of the world Kinloss, may I put it to the DPPF Junta that we might twin with it? The Wicker man springs to mind or am I thinking The Marathon Man?

PPs I noted rival Chav gangs tonight within the boundaries....a bit like the Warriors film, can you please update me on the planning permission for draw bridges/boiling oil positions?
Their rallying point appears to be the chapel of rest?

Good news Boppers!

I have it on good authority that the chavs bumped into the Turnbull AC's and the Baseball Furies outside Dixies about half 11, just as we were tucking into half rice/half chips and curry. The baseball crew turned 5 of Kingsmeads finest into popsickles. They all run like Forest Gump when the DPPF started whistling the theme to Dambusters.

We currently have 4 of the 5 correctly spotted. Special prize of a bag of dry roast for the 5th.

Sorry, the one we are looking for is number 3.

DEF & LRDG are the Douglas Baders of Davenham (insert legless joke here)
